We Thrive Together is a 5-week transformational journey designed to help women from diverse ethnic backgrounds thrive in their career and lead with confidence. The programme offers a safe, supportive, and empowering space for them to connect, grow, and thrive together.

Programme Overview

The programme consists of a mix of interactive & practical workshops, knowledge sharing, and speed mentoring, designed to:

• Expand your professional network

• Provide valuable insights to thrive & lead authentically

Over five weeks, you will:

Connect

• Deepen your connection with yourself and others.

• Explore themes of identity and belonging.

• Embrace your authentic self with confidence.

• Understand the complexities and strengths of intersectional identities.

Grow

• Learn to advocate for yourself.

• Overcome imposter syndrome.

• Communicate your needs with clarity and confidence.

Thrive

• Build meaningful and lasting connections.

• Develop sisterhood and allyship.

• Learn to authentically lead and thrive.

What’s Included:

• Two interactive workshops (2 x 2-hour sessions)

• Speed Mentoring Session with inspiring ethnic leaders and allies

• Knowledge-Sharing Session to exchange experiences and insights with your peers

• Private Online Platform to stay connected, share resources, and build sisterhood

Who is the programme for?

This programme is designed for women from diverse ethnic backgrounds, including:

• Early career professionals

• Women from migrant and refugee backgrounds

• Students preparing to enter the workforce (tertiary, MA, and PhD levels)

All workshops & activities are online, so you can connect from anywhere in Aotearoa New Zealand or around the world!

• Workshop 1: Thursday 30 October, 11am–1pm

• Workshop 2: Thursday 6 November, 11am–1pm

• Knowledge Sharing Session: Thursday 20 November, 11am–12noon

• Speed Mentoring Session: Thursday 27 November, 11am–1:30 pm
